Access control
Is linking video access compatible with the GDPR?
Yes, as long as your plant already operates its video surveillance in accordance with regulations (informative posters, registration of treatment activities and conservation periods). SentyHub does not install cameras: it relies on yours and links the clip to the access log, with the same restricted access and retention regime that you already have defined.
Does SentyHub need new hardware or cameras?
It depends on what you have. If they are standard IP cameras with ONVIF or RTSP support, they connect as is, without touching anything else. If your installation is older or does not support these standards, we will review it with you and propose the best option for your case.
How are visitors and carriers registered?
They register at the entrance with their details, company and reason, or pre-accredit if the visit is planned. The system logs in and out, notifies the host and keeps track of who is still inside in real time.
